Review for the Final Exam

In class for the remaining four class periods this year you will be given time to review to course content we've studied this year.   The Final Exam will be on Monday, June 14th, in the morning.

What you should do to aid the review:
  • Use your class time effectively to work with peers and ask questions.
  • FOR NEXT CLASS: Collect your old tests, skill quizzes, and chapter packets so you may refer to them efficiently.
  • As you review, make sure you are doing enough thinking on your own (as opposed to group problem solving) - you'll be taking the final on your own.

Available to you on the course documents page:
  • Four review documents (with solutions)
  • A sample final exam (with solutions)
  • The formula sheet you will have on the final
The final exam is an opportunity to demonstrate how well you have mastered and retained the major concepts of this course.  The Precalculus teachers believe that long-term understanding is especially worthy of reward, so the final exam will be weighted more heavily for students who are able to over-perform their semester grades.   For example, a student who has a B average for the semesters but gets an B+ or higher on the final exam will have their final count as 20% of their year grade.   If the same student earns a B- or lower it will count as 10% of their year grade.
